Originally released as a limited-edition Christmas roast, this coffee is now available as part of our regular offerings. It features a medium roast profile with notes of plum, red apple, walnut, brown sugar, and cocoa.
Sourced from the Mokonissa Primary Cooperative in Ethiopia’s Bensa district, this naturally processed lot reflects the work of 1,492 smallholder farmers who prioritize careful cherry selection and slow, single-layer drying to achieve a clean, high-quality cup. As a member of the Sidama Coffee Farmers’ Cooperative Union (SCFCU), Mokonissa also benefits from extensive support in organic farming practices, infrastructure improvement, micro-credit access, and community programs that strengthen both coffee quality and the livelihoods of the producers.
